Seminar Description

Rules of etiquette may have relaxed, but saying and doing the “right” things are still crucial skills for the dynamic wedding industry.

This full one-day seminar covers wedding and business etiquette and customer service skills for all wedding professionals. The outcome: how etiquette impacts your business success.

Etiquette skills, like many other skills, need an occasional refresher. So this seminar is for the novice, service providers (Vendors) as well as the seasoned wedding professional - what's acceptable today is not the same as even a few years ago. 

You'll learn to blend presentation skills, business lunch etiquette and networking techniques to increase your business with hands-on practicum in persuasive presentations, newtorking skills and business dining etiquette.

Facilitated by Sandra Monahan, Master Bridal Consultant and Etiquette Consultant, you'll be able to:

• make the right first impression and avoid embarassing yourself without knowing it.
• practice proper networking techniques.
• polish a persuasive presentation.
• properly eat difficult foods like mussels, olives with pits, or shrimip.
• know what to do with up to 25 pieces of silverware.
• differentiate between a cocktail party and a cocktail reception.

Directions 

From the North: Follow I-79 South to Exit 66 (Emsworth/Sewickley) end of ramp make a left. Go to next stop sign and make a right onto Rt. 65 North. Go 3 miles and make a left at the 3rd traffic light across Sewickley Bridge, turn right onto University Blvd. Follow up hill 2 miles and the hotel is on the right.  

From the South: Take I-79 North to Exit 59B. Follow 376 West which turns into 376 .

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations more than 10 days before seminar may be transferred to another ABC seminar or refunded less a $25 administrative fee.  Cancellations/no-shows less than 10 days before the seminar cannot be refunded. If paying by check, check must be postmarked by early registration cutoff to be received prior to the seminar.  No-shows will be invoiced.
